At GribStream we keep account data intentionally minimal. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how limited third-party providers for authentication, billing, analytics, and infrastructure may process information while helping us operate the Service.

1. Information We Collect

• Account email: GribStream stores the email address used to create or sign in to your GribStream account. We use it to identify the account owner, operate authentication, associate API tokens and subscriptions with the correct account, and communicate with you about the Service when necessary.
• Billing and subscription information: Payments, subscriptions, taxes, invoices, and checkout are handled by Lemon Squeezy or its payment partners. GribStream does not store payment card details. Lemon Squeezy may provide GribStream with limited billing information, such as your email address, customer ID, order ID, subscription ID, plan, and subscription status, so we can provision, manage, or cancel paid access.
• Support communications: If you contact us, we receive the email address and message content you choose to send so we can respond.
• Limited technical information: Our servers and service providers may process limited technical information, such as IP address, user agent, timestamps, error logs, and security or usage records, to operate, secure, debug, protect, and meter the Service. We do not use this information to build advertising profiles.
• Website analytics: Website pages may use analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, to understand aggregate site usage and improve the Service. These tools may process device, browser, referrer, page-view, and approximate location information according to their own policies. GribStream does not use analytics data to identify account owners or sell personal information.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To identify the owner of each GribStream account.
• To operate authentication, API tokens, subscriptions, quotas, and account access.
• To process billing through Lemon Squeezy and keep subscription status in sync.
• To respond to support requests and send necessary account or service communications.
• To operate, debug, secure, protect, and improve the Service.
• To comply with legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, and dispute-resolution obligations.

3. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell personal information. We share or allow processing of information only as needed for the following purposes:

• Authentication providers: To verify your email address and sign you in.
• Billing providers: Lemon Squeezy and its payment partners process checkout, subscriptions, invoices, taxes, and payment-related records.
• Infrastructure, analytics, monitoring, and communication providers: These providers help us host, secure, monitor, debug, measure, and communicate about the Service.
• Legal and safety reasons: We may disclose information if required by law, to protect the Service, to prevent abuse or fraud, to resolve disputes, or to enforce our terms.

4. Retention

We keep your account email while your account remains active or as long as reasonably needed to provide the Service, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, or satisfy legal, tax, accounting, and security obligations. Billing and subscription records may be retained as needed for payment, tax, accounting, dispute, and fraud-prevention purposes. Technical logs and analytics records are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for operational, security, debugging, and reporting needs.

5. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. However, no system is 100% secure.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at info@gribstream.com. Some deletion requests may be limited where retention is required to provide the Service, complete billing records, comply with law, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, or protect security.
