Query sparse times with timesList
The API now supports timesList so you can request specific timestamps without pulling entire hourly ranges.
On January 26, 2025, we added timesList support so you can request specific timestamps without pulling the full range in between.
Why it matters
- Reduce quota usage when you only need a few times.
- Avoid over-fetching when events are irregular or sparse.
- Works with both history and forecast endpoints.
Good use cases
- Pull the same hour across many years (e.g., Jan 1 midnight).
- Sample only 00Z cycles for long-range comparisons.
- Grab a handful of event timestamps without a large window.
