GREFS und REFSCT: Läufe um 00, 06, 12 und 18 UTC bis +60 h. Vierstundenfenster enden stündlich bei +4…60 h; REFSCT bietet auch Einstundenfenster mit Enden bei +1…60 h. Vollständige Zeiträume behalten ihre genaue Dauer. Bei REFSCT beginnen sie bei +0…59 h und enden an der Grenze des konvektiven Tages, spätestens bei +60 h. GEFSCT: 00 UTC, +36…204 h; 12 UTC, +24…192 h; Schritte von 24 h, acht Zeiträume mit Ende um 12 UTC.

Für einen REFS-Lauf um 12 UTC nutzt GEFS lag 0h den GEFS-Lauf um 12 UTC und GEFS lag 6h den um 06 UTC. Der REFS-Lauf bleibt derselbe; die Angabe bezeichnet das Alter der GEFS-Eingabe, keine Verschiebung des Zeitraums oder Veröffentlichungsverzögerung. Der Laufzeitpunkt ist nicht die Veröffentlichungszeit. prob >0 ist GRIB-Metadatum der Quelle, kein vom Nutzer gewählter Schwellenwert.

Vorhersageläufe der letzten zwei Tage werden gespeichert, wie bei den bisherigen SPC-Produkten. Dies begrenzt die Laufhistorie, nicht den Vorhersagehorizont: GEFSCT behält seine acht Tagesintervalle. HREF-Kennungen bleiben getrennt; ihre Daten verfallen gemäß ihrer Aufbewahrungsfrist von zwei Tagen.
