Alcance en GribStream: camsglobal incluye 37 campos de composición de acceso rápido en superficie o columna total. Esta primera versión excluye a propósito las variables meteorológicas duplicadas y la química multinivel. Los ciclos de 00 y 12 UTC ofrecen lead times horarios hasta 120 h y se conservan los últimos cinco días.

Descripción

CAMS Global pronostica la composición química y los aerosoles de la atmósfera, no solo el tiempo que los transporta. El sistema operativo completo representa 56 gases traza reactivos en la troposfera, ozono estratosférico y siete tipos de aerosol. Utiliza IFS de ECMWF con módulos CAMS para emisiones, química, transporte, microfísica de aerosoles, deposición y eliminación.

Su estado inicial combina un pronóstico anterior con observaciones satelitales mediante asimilación variacional en cuatro dimensiones. Esa base es importante cuando la temperatura, el viento y la precipitación solo explican una parte del riesgo: calidad del aire, polvo, humo y carga de aerosoles requieren variables de composición.

La primera versión en GribStream se concentra en 37 campos de acceso rápido. Incluye pm1, pm2p5 y pm10 en superficie; profundidad óptica total a cinco longitudes de onda y por componente a 550 nm; columnas totales de gases y contaminantes; y dos tasas de dosis UV para cielo real y cielo despejado.

Se mantienen los nombres y unidades de la fuente. CAMS expresa el material particulado en kg/m^3; una expresión de GribStream puede multiplicarlo por 1e9 para obtener microgramos por metro cúbico. AOD no tiene dimensión y las columnas totales de masa usan kg/m^2. Los campos UV son tasas instantáneas en W/m^2, no valores del índice UV; multiplícalos por 40 para obtener el UVI.

CAMS es guía de modelo, no una red local de monitoreo regulatorio. La grilla de 0.4 grados sirve para transporte global y contexto de composición, no para estimar exposición a escala de calle. tc_VSO2 muestra la carga modelada de dióxido de azufre volcánico en columna, pero no la altura de la pluma.

Usa /api/v2/camsglobal/timeseries para series por coordenadas y /api/v2/camsglobal/runs para extracciones por ciclo o sobre grilla. Combina CAMS con IFS para contexto meteorológico, GEFS Chem para una comparación ensemble o NOAA AQM para guía regional de mayor resolución en Estados Unidos.
