Beschreibung

GEFS Chem erweitert die GEFS-Familie in Richtung Atmosphärenchemie und Aerosole. Statt nur Temperatur, Wind oder Druck zu betrachten, konzentriert es sich auf Felder zur Luftzusammensetzung und zum Partikeltransport.

Die Ausgabe ist nützlich, wenn Risiko von Rauch, Staub, Aerosolen, wichtigen Schadstoffen, Sichtweite oder Abschwächung der Solarstrahlung abhängt. In solchen Fällen reicht eine einzelne klassische Wettervariable oft nicht aus.

Als Teil der GEFS-Familie hilft das Produkt, Unsicherheit in atmosphärischem Transport und chemischer Entwicklung zu bewerten. Dadurch lassen sich mögliche Szenarien vergleichen, nicht nur eine einzelne Trajektorie.

In GribStream wird gefschem wie jedes andere Dataset abgefragt: Koordinaten, Zeitbereich und Katalogselektoren wählen, während Variablencodes und GRIB-Levels exakt erhalten bleiben. Es eignet sich für Luftqualitätsprodukte, Umweltanalysen und Entscheidungen, bei denen Rauch, Staub, Aerosole oder Schadstoffe das operative Risiko verändern.
