AIGEFS Pressure est le produit sur niveaux de pression de l'AI Global Ensemble Forecast System de la NOAA/NCEP. La NOAA a mis AIGEFS v1.0 en production le 17 décembre 2025 ; ce dataset fournit la structure verticale de l'atmosphère pour chacun de ses 31 membres.
NOAA décrit la famille AI-GFS comme une prévision basée sur GraphCast. Dans AIGEFS, cette prévision tourne comme ensemble, ce qui permet de comparer les scénarios membre par membre avec GEFS, les ensembles ECMWF et les prévisions globales déterministes basées sur l'IA.
La valeur principale n'est pas seulement une prévision d'IA rapide, mais la mesure de l'incertitude en altitude : où les scénarios divergent, où ils restent cohérents et quelles plages sont plausibles pour une Lead Time (horizon de prévision) donnée.
aigefspres contient vent U/V, température, hauteur géopotentielle, humidité spécifique et vitesse verticale sur niveaux de pression 50, 100, 150, 200, 250, 300, 400, 500, 600, 700, 850, 925 et 1000 mb, pour les membres 0 à 30.
Il tourne sur grille globale de 0.25 degré, avec runs 00/06/12/18 UTC et pas de 6 h jusqu'à 384 h. Pour les clients GribStream, AIGEFS Pressure est utile quand le risque dépend des motifs en altitude : steering flow, profils thermiques, couches d'humidité, ondes moyen terme, cisaillement ou trajectoires probables.
