NOAA AI Global Forecast System Pressure Levels (AIGFS Pressure)

Statut opérationnel : NOAA a mis en production AIGFS v1.0 et AIGEFS v1.0 le 17 décembre 2025, avec HGEFS. Dans GribStream, ces datasets sont la ligne opérationnelle NOAA actuelle pour la prévision globale basée sur l'IA ; graphcast reste une archive expérimentale historique.

Description

AIGFS Pressure est le produit sur niveaux de pression de l'Artificial Intelligence Global Forecast System opérationnel de la NOAA/NCEP. La NOAA a mis AIGFS v1.0 en production le 17 décembre 2025 ; cette page couvre la partie en altitude qui complète AIGFS Surface.

Le dataset garde la logique AIGFS basée sur GraphCast, initialisée depuis l'analyse globale opérationnelle NOAA. Cela permet de comparer une prévision déterministe basée sur l'IA à des modèles physiques globaux sans changer le modèle de requête GribStream.

aigfspres est l'option adaptée quand vous avez besoin de la structure de l'atmosphère au-dessus de la surface : steering flow, profils thermiques, couches d'humidité, ondes des niveaux moyens et hauts, et mouvement vertical.

Le dataset inclut vent U/V, température, hauteur géopotentielle, humidité spécifique et vitesse verticale sur 13 niveaux de pression standard : 50, 100, 150, 200, 250, 300, 400, 500, 600, 700, 850, 925 et 1000 mb. Il tourne sur grille globale de 0.25 degré, avec runs 00/06/12/18 UTC et pas de 6 h jusqu'à 384 h.

Pour les clients GribStream, AIGFS Pressure est utile pour analyse synoptique, première évaluation de trajectoires, tableaux de bord moyen terme, comparaison entre IA et modèles physiques, et produits utilisant des variables sur niveaux de pression.
