AIGEFS Pressure es el producto de niveles de presión del AI Global Ensemble Forecast System de NOAA/NCEP. NOAA puso en operación AIGEFS v1.0 el 17 de diciembre de 2025; este dataset entrega la estructura vertical de la atmósfera para cada uno de sus 31 miembros.
NOAA describe la familia AI-GFS como guía basada en GraphCast. En AIGEFS, esa guía se ejecuta como ensemble, lo que permite comparar escenarios miembro a miembro contra GEFS, ensembles de ECMWF y pronósticos globales determinísticos basados en IA.
El valor principal no es solo una predicción rápida basada en IA, sino la posibilidad de medir incertidumbre en altura: cuánto se separan los escenarios, dónde coinciden y qué rangos son plausibles para un lead time (horizonte de pronóstico) dado.
aigefspres incluye viento U/V, temperatura, altura geopotencial, humedad específica y velocidad vertical en coordenada de presión sobre los niveles 50, 100, 150, 200, 250, 300, 400, 500, 600, 700, 850, 925 y 1000 mb, para los miembros 0 a 30.
Corre en grilla global de 0.25 grados, con ciclos 00/06/12/18 UTC y pasos de 6 h hasta 384 h. Para clientes de GribStream, AIGEFS Pressure es útil cuando el riesgo depende de patrones en altura: flujo director, perfiles térmicos, humedad por capas, ondas de mediano plazo, cizalladura o trayectorias probables.
