API NOAA GEFS Wave Prob

Descrizione

GEFS Wave Prob traduce l'incertezza ensemble in probabilità utili per il rischio marittimo. Invece di una sola altezza d'onda prevista, il prodotto descrive la probabilità di superare soglie operative.

In GribStream gefswaveprob è utile per interrogare rischio onda per coordinata o griglia, con orizzonti lunghi fino a 384 h quando la fonte li pubblica.

È adatto a pianificazione delle rotte navali, operazioni offshore, sicurezza marittima, pianificazione portuale e prodotti che devono comunicare probabilità di mare agitato, non solo uno scenario deterministico.

Per previsioni marine ECMWF deterministiche o probabilistiche confronta con IFS Wave e IFS Wave Ensemble.
