Descrizione

ABI, lo strumento di imaging multispettrale avanzato, osserva il disco geostazionario in 16 bande visibili e infrarosse.

I prodotti Level 2 convertono le radianze in osservazioni di nubi, aerosol, incendi, precipitazioni, neve, radiazione e superfici. Non ogni stima è valida per ogni pixel o momento.

Luce diurna, cielo sereno, filtro delle nubi, ipotesi atmosferiche e geometria di vista influenzano i campi; l'impronta cresce verso il lembo.

L'inventario elenca i 46 selettori sorgente esatti e i relativi periodi di disponibilità.
