Descripción

ABI, el Advanced Baseline Imager, observa el disco geoestacionario en 16 bandas espectrales visibles e infrarrojas.

Los productos Level 2 convierten esas radiancias en observaciones de nubes, aerosoles, incendios, precipitación, nieve, radiación y superficies. No todas las recuperaciones son válidas en cada píxel o momento.

Luz diurna, cielo despejado, filtrado de nubes, supuestos atmosféricos y geometría de visión afectan cada campo; la huella aumenta hacia el limbo.

El inventario lista los 46 selectores fuente exactos y sus períodos de disponibilidad.
