Descripción

ABI, Advanced Baseline Imager, observa el disco GOES-East en 16 bandas, desde reflectancia visible hasta vapor de agua y temperaturas infrarrojas.

Los campos Level 2 convierten esas radiancias en propiedades de nubes y sus topes, humo y polvo, incendios, aerosoles, radiación, lluvia, nieve, reflectancia y temperatura terrestre, y temperatura del mar.

Cada recuperación tiene límites. Varias dependen de luz diurna, cielo despejado, filtros de nubes o supuestos atmosféricos y de superficie. La geometría empeora hacia el limbo; una detección de incendio no sustituye la confirmación del incidente.

Usa /api/v2/goes19abi/timeseries para historiales puntuales y /api/v2/goes19abi/runs para barridos exactos o extracciones en grilla. El inventario contiene los 46 selectores.

Características principales:
- Dieciséis bandas CMI_C01-CMI_C16: reflectancia en 1-6 y temperatura de brillo en K en 7-16.
- Máscaras, probabilidad, fase (Phase), profundidad óptica y tamaño de partículas de nube, junto con altura, presión y temperatura del tope nuboso a 2 km y banderas Smoke, Dust, Cloud y SnowIce.
- Caracterización de incendios, tasa de lluvia RRQPE, aerosoles, radiación de onda corta, nieve, albedo, reflectancia bidireccional, temperatura terrestre LST y temperatura marina.
- Una grilla fija nativa GOES-East de 5.424 por 5.424 celdas, equivalente a unos 2 km en el nadir.
- Cuarenta y seis selectores exactos con nombres y unidades NOAA; la mayoría se actualiza cada 10 minutos y varios productos de superficie son horarios.
Resolución: Una única grilla geoestacionaria nativa de 5.424 por 5.424 celdas, con unos 2 km en el nadir. Las huellas crecen hacia el limbo y las celdas fuera del disco terrestre son null.
Cobertura temporal: Imágenes, incendios, aerosoles, radiación y lluvia suelen publicarse aproximadamente cada 10 minutos. La temperatura marina es horaria. Los tiempos exactos incluyen segundos.
Usos principales: Estructura y fase de nubes, ciclones y convección, incendios y humo, polvo y aerosoles, recurso solar, lluvia satelital, nieve, caracterización terrestre y temperatura oceánica.
