歴史的な文脈で見るオーストラリアの気象

決定論的な地域再解析により、オーストラリアと周辺地域の気象を約12 kmで再構成します。 BARRA-R2はオーストラリア気象局のBARRA2シリーズの一つで、ERA5の境界条件を用い、地域モデルの詳細を加えます。再解析は観測と物理モデルを組み合わせます。格子内の値は推定であり、気象観測所の測定値ではありません。

照会できるデータ

GribStreamの初期提供には、1992年1月から2026年1月までの28種類の毎時フィールドが含まれます。地表付近の気温と地表面温度、湿度、地表付近とタービン高度の風、突風、気圧、降水、日射と長波放射、雲、蒸発、CAPE、CINが対象です。元データの欠測値は欠測のまま保持します。

これは予報リードタイムがゼロの、過去の毎時の状態です。BARRA2はリアルタイム予報ではなく、新たな過去データの公開には大きな遅れが生じる場合があります。瞬間値の時刻は正時、1時間平均と極値は元の集計区間の中央である毎時30分です。一覧では1h_mean、1h_minimum、1h_maximumなどで区別します。降水は率であり、直達日射は水平面の値で、法線面直達日射ではありません。他の変数、出力間隔、BARRA-RE2は初期提供の対象外です。

C2/R2の全パラメータと、1979年まで遡る利用可能な全記録へ近いうちに拡張する予定です。詳細や必要な期間についてはお問い合わせください。

過去の高温・低温期間を比較し、気象とエネルギー需要の関係や風力・太陽光資源を調べ、降雨を歴史的な文脈に位置付けられます。分析対象の地点では観測と比較して再構成を評価してください。格子が細かいだけで精度向上が保証されるわけではありません。

科学的な限界と出典表記

領域境界付近の影響を含め、提供元の既知の問題を確認してください。局地的な極端現象の解釈には、モデルと観測のバイアスが重要です。CC BY 4.0に従ってオーストラリア気象局を出典として示し、使用した製品と版を記録してください。
