Australiens Wetter im historischen Zusammenhang

Die deterministische regionale Reanalyse rekonstruiert das Wetter über Australien und angrenzenden Regionen mit etwa 12 km. BARRA-R2 gehört zur BARRA2-Familie des Bureau of Meteorology, die ERA5-Randbedingungen nutzt und regionale Modelldetails ergänzt. Reanalyse verbindet Beobachtungen und physikalische Modellierung; Werte einer Gitterzelle sind Schätzungen, keine Stationsmessungen.

Welche Daten Sie abfragen können

GribStream startet mit 28 stündlichen Feldern von Januar 1992 bis Januar 2026: bodennahe und Oberflächentemperatur, Feuchte, Wind am Boden und auf Turbinenhöhen, Böen, Druck, Niederschlag, Solar- und langwellige Strahlung, Bewölkung, Verdunstung, CAPE und CIN. Fehlende Quellwerte bleiben fehlend.

Dies sind stündliche historische Bedingungen mit Vorhersagefrist null. BARRA2 ist keine Echtzeitvorhersage; neue historische Daten können deutlich verzögert erscheinen. Momentanwerte tragen Zeitstempel zur vollen Stunde; Einstundenmittel und -extrema verwenden die Intervallmitte bei Minute 30. Im Inventar unterscheiden dies 1h_mean, 1h_minimum und 1h_maximum. Niederschlag ist eine Rate. Direkte Solarstrahlung bezieht sich auf eine horizontale Fläche, nicht auf Direktnormalstrahlung. Weitere Felder, Frequenzen und BARRA-RE2 gehören nicht zum ersten Angebot.

Welche Fragen der Datensatz unterstützen kann

Vergleichen Sie warme und kalte Perioden, verknüpfen Sie Wetter mit Energienachfrage, untersuchen Sie Wind- und Solarressourcen oder ordnen Sie Regenereignisse historisch ein. Prüfen Sie die Rekonstruktion an relevanten Orten anhand von Beobachtungen. Ein feineres Gitter allein garantiert keine höhere Genauigkeit.

Wissenschaftliche Grenzen und Quellenangabe

Beachten Sie die bekannten Probleme des Anbieters, auch an den Modellrändern. Modell- und Beobachtungsbias sind bei lokalen Extremen wichtig. Nennen Sie das Australian Bureau of Meteorology gemäß CC BY 4.0 und dokumentieren Sie Produkt und Version.
