概要

IFS WaefはECMWFの全球波浪アンサンブルです。WAM波浪モデルを大気IFSと組み合わせ、50個の摂動メンバーと制御予報で起こりうる海況を表します。

各メンバーは、初期条件とモデル自体の不確実性の下で起こりうる波浪の推移を示します。このばらつきから、海上判断向けの確率、分位値、極端シナリオを推定できます。

公開データサブセットは0.25度格子の全球波浪フィールドを提供します。GribStreamの現在カバー範囲では、00/12 UTCサイクルは360 hまで、06/18 UTCサイクルは144 hまでです。

GribStreamでは、単一シナリオではなく確率的な波浪リスクが必要な場合に、ifswaefがIFS Waveを補完します。
