概要

IFS WaveはECMWFの全球波浪モデルです。大気IFSと結合したecWAMを使い、風で発生する波の生成、伝播、散逸をシミュレートします。

モデルは風入力、白波化による散逸、波同士の非線形相互作用、海底効果などの物理項を使います。この結合により、風と海況の相互作用を扱えます。

典型的なフィールドには、有義波高、平均周期、ピーク周期、平均方向、風浪とうねりの分離成分、海上運用や極端海況診断に使える海面変数が含まれます。

GribStreamでは、ifswaveは全球海洋プロダクト向けのECMWF決定論的オプションです。波浪の不確実性が必要な場合はIFS Wave Ensembleを使ってください。
