Description

IFS Wave est le modèle déterministe global de vagues de l'ECMWF publié dans l'Open Data. Il complète IFS Oper avec des champs maritimes utiles pour routes, actifs offshore et opérations côtières.

Le dataset inclut des variables de vagues comme hauteur significative, périodes, directions et composantes de houle. Ces champs sont essentiels quand le risque ne dépend pas seulement du vent atmosphérique, mais aussi de l'état de mer résultant.

Dans GribStream, ifswave peut être interrogé par coordonnée et heure comme les autres datasets. Vous pouvez l'associer à IFS Oper pour relier vent, pression et état de mer dans un même produit.

Pour quantifier l'incertitude maritime, utilisez IFS Waef, l'ensemble de vagues ECMWF.
