AIGEFS Surface è l'ensemble globale NOAA/NCEP basato su IA per campi vicino alla superficie. Aggiunge incertezza probabilistica alla famiglia AIGFS.

In GribStream aigefssfc espone membri ensemble con variabili superficiali come vento, temperatura, umidità, punto di rugiada, pressione e precipitazione. È pensato per scenari, spread e probabilità, non solo per una singola traiettoria.

È utile per energia, rotte, logistica, gestione rischio e confronto con ensemble fisici come GEFS o IFS ENS.

Per struttura verticale usa AIGEFS Pressure. Per previsione IA deterministica usa AIGFS Surface.
