Descripción
CWA WRF 15 km es un pronóstico numérico regional de la Central Weather Administration de Taiwán. Aporta una mirada regional para Asia oriental y Pacífico occidental cuando necesitas más contexto local que el de un pronóstico global.
El dominio cubre una zona amplia desde los trópicos hacia Taiwán, el Mar de China Meridional, el Mar de Filipinas, aguas cercanas a Japón y corredores meteorológicos regionales afectados por tifones.
El modelo usa Weather Research and Forecasting (WRF), un sistema de mesoescala usado para pronóstico operativo e investigación atmosférica.
