Offizielle Quelle: Der Deutsche Wetterdienst betreibt ICON-D2 für die Kürzestfristvorhersage über Deutschland und den Nachbarländern. Die regulären Gitterfelder erscheinen ohne Registrierung in DWD Open Data.
Aktueller Umfang in GribStream: icond2 umfasst 63 Einzelfelder aus allen acht täglichen deterministischen Läufen, stündlich von 0 bis 48 h und mit fünf Tagen rollierendem Archiv. Das Wetterinterpretationsfeld WW beginnt bei +1 h, alle übrigen aktuellen Felder bei +0 h.
Lizenz: DWD erlaubt die kommerzielle Weiterverwendung offener Geodaten unter CC BY 4.0 mit Quellenangabe. GribStream nennt DWD als Urheber und verlinkt die offiziellen Bedingungen.
ICON-D2 ist das Limited-Area-Modell des DWD für die Kürzestfrist über Deutschland und Mitteleuropa. Es gehört zur ICON-Familie und konzentriert den nicht-hydrostatischen dynamischen Kern auf eine deutlich feinere Regionaldomäne.
Mit etwa 2,2 km ist ICON-D2 konvektionserlaubend. DWD nennt tiefe Konvektion, Böenlinien, Strömung über komplexem Gelände, Bodennebel, Föhn, Fallwinde und sturzflutartigen Regen als wichtige Anwendungen. Das garantiert nicht die exakte Lage jedes Gewitters, stellt Konvektion aber unmittelbarer dar als ein grobmaschiges Parametrisierungsschema.
Die Anfangsbedingungen liefert KENDA, das kilometermaßstäbliche Datenassimilationssystem des DWD. Sein Local Ensemble Transform Kalman Filter verbindet aktuelle Beobachtungen mit einem Kurzfrist-Ensemble zu einer wetterlagenabhängigen Analyse.
Das reguläre Produkt deckt 43.18N-58.08N und 3.94W-20.34E ab: Deutschland, Niederlande, Belgien, Luxemburg, Schweiz, Österreich, Dänemark sowie Teile Frankreichs, Italiens, Tschechiens, Polens und weiterer Nachbarländer. Von 906.390 Rechteckzellen liegen die Randzellen teilweise außerhalb der gültigen Modellfläche und sind fehlend.
Das icond2-Inventar verbindet Oberflächenwetter mit breitem Betriebskontext. Solarprodukte erhalten direkte und diffuse Strahlung; Hydrologie und Winterdienste können Niederschlag, Regen, Schnee, Abfluss, Schneehöhe, Wasseräquivalent und Schneefallgrenze kombinieren. SYNMSG_BT_CL_IR10.8 und SYNMSG_BT_CL_WV6.2 sind synthetische Modelldiagnosen, keine Satellitenbeobachtungen.
ICON-D2 liefert ein deterministisches 48-Stunden-Szenario. Das feine Gitter kann Gelände, Konvergenzlinien und schmale Niederschlagsbänder schärfer zeigen, doch kleine Orts- und Zeitfehler bleiben wichtig. Für explizite Unsicherheit oder längere Horizonte sollten Beobachtungen, Ensembles und großräumige Modelle ergänzt werden.
Das Inventar enthält die genaue Kombination aus name, level und info. /api/v2/icond2/timeseries liefert Koordinaten-Zeitreihen, /api/v2/icond2/runs laufbezogene und gerasterte Ausgaben.
